  Shows how rope seal and sump gasket work together (2).JPG - Here is a closer view of the side that got a bit of additional trimming. You can see where the lip seal was running on the pulley. Of course fitting it this way (the timing cover should go on first) meant that I had to remove and install the pully several times to fit the covers together or the timing cover would not line up with the holes in the front carrier bracket and the block.
