I used the modern lip seal available from the usual suspects. However, the timing chain cover and the oil sump were designed for a more forgiving rope type seal, and therefore were not made to be exactly concentric with the crankshaft. Mine was off enough that the front seal always leaked... alot! I'm finally going to try the rope seal instead.

Removing rear bonnet brackets
Bonnet off
Don't forget where the oil filter is
Disconnecting the lower hose
