| I started driving MG TD15470 in 1979; and it spent a lot of its time in my garage, rather than at my friend Joe Stout's. Joe had owned it since the mid 1960s. He sold it out right to me in 1987. The milage was likely not original at about 38,000 miles when I bought it (it had the later speedometer with the main light indication), and it had already been 'restored' to red over black, and the engine had been rebuilt at least once to about .040 over. |
