| 39 | The long wind screen test bolts show the body guy put the tie bracket too low on the cowl wood at the rear. This pulls in the bottom of the fascia sub panel and since he aimed at the holes in the tie bracket when he drilled the wood for the windshield mount, the screws are at the wrong angle. These test screws show the angle, and the correct screws aren't close to fitting in the extra distance the angle creates. I'll plug the holes with dowels and try to drill new hole including new holes in the tie brackets. I also shimmed out the fascia sub panel to the proper angle. | |
