We knew we wanted something besides the old octagonal knock-offs which either needed replacing or rechroming. A soft wrench is supplied with the knock-offs, but over time it seem likely that it damages the chrome. The answer is eared knock-offs supposedly outlawed because of danger to pedestrians. The tuning of the wire wheels was limited due to being unable to risk loosening all the spokes, so we mounted the best two for the rear, and picked up two new wheels for the front, along with four new Hankook tires.
