The car has had a black vinyl hood (convertible top) and matching side curtains (plastic bolt-on windows with vinyl covers on metal frames) since I've owned it. The new set up will be a tan stayfast fabric.

Hood Removal The condition of the hood, and hopefully enough pictures to allow me to reconstruct the hood at a future time. The hood is the first thing to come off the car. (26 Images)

Hood Installation The hood sticks are stripped, primed and painted, the front bow assembled, and the fabric is installed. The rear rails are installed so the hood has something to anchor to in the rear. I'm using snaps instead of screws for easier access to the rear compartment. (40 Images)

Side Curtains The side curtains are stripped, the metal prepped and painted, and the new side curtain fabric is fitted and installed. (58 Images)

Tonneau Installation I've never had a tonneau for the car, although the car has lift the dot studs for a full tonneau. Brian left the stud holes in the front cowl so I'm stuck with using those slightly unfavoriable locations. The car came from Abingdon with a half tonneau for covering the rear compartment and the hood. The new tonneau is a full tonneau. (8 Images)

Hood Cover I wanted a hood cover (cockpit cover) for overnight travel and chose Maryellen Pelletier's of New Hampshire. Her top arrived and two days later I put it to use at Fig's Pool Party during a sudden downpour. (5 Images)
