$Tracing new boards. The wood is a 2'x4' x 1/2" thick marine grade exterior ply with sanded top surface. It was only $5 so if I don't like the flatness, I can just do it over. The original boards were closer to 3/8", but they also fractured some plies.$

Chasing seat bottom t nuts.jpg - Chasing the t-nut threads. I'm using a 10-32 tap, lacking a 2BA tap. I did have to buy one new t-nut. The nails go in the board at an angle to hold the t-nuts in place. The slightly thicker board works OK with the current 2BA screws.
