Replacing trunions
Packing front bearings in place.jpg - Greased the wheel bearings in place forcing new grease through the keepers. The Workshop Manual recommends not removing the bearings unless you intend to replace them as they are a tight fit, and not tapered. There is an inner collar that sets the races and the collor in a compression column, while the stub axle is in tension. Very strong set up. note that the Left hand trunions and axle nut are all LH thread.
