Exhaust Manifold Nuts 01.jpg - Diane came out and started the car while I crawled around. My search eventually led me forward to where I discovered that the bronze nuts had fallen off. I didn't know to use lock washers, never needed them on my old installation prior to restoration. Stainless Steel is better because the bronze will anneal with the heat, allowing the nuts to back off. I installed with lock washers and antisieze. And I'll make the nuts part of my regular inspection. You know? Tommy sounds much better now, and the BBS erupted with a plethora of bad nut jokes.
